Cell/Molecular Biologist

The Yale Center for Genome Analysis (YCGA) is seeking a cell/molecular biologist to maintain an image-based spatial omics facility featuring highly multiplexed fluorescence in situ hybridization technologies. YCGA utilizes diverse cutting-edge genomic technologies to advance breakthroughs in biomedical and life sciences. It is a key resource for Yale University that is used by more than 300 principal investigators and has supported many high impact discoveries and publications.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD with extensive experience in both cell or molecular biology and in advanced light microscopy technologies.  Candidates should be highly motivated and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment. The candidate will be responsible for the operation and management of an imaging system(s) capable of highly multiplexed error-robust fluorescence in situ hybridization (e. g. MERFISH technology) and will interact with facility users of the technology.  Experience with NGS and in situ hybridization is a plus.
