Postdoctoral position in cancer metabolism & epigenetics
A postdoctoral position in cellular metabolism of ovarian cancer is available in the laboratory of Dr. Katherine Aird at the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC Hillman Cancer Center. This NIH-funded project will focus on how metabolites affect the epigenome, DNA damage response, and/or microenvironment during ovarian tumorigenesis and progression. This research will integrate cellular and molecular biology of in vitro and in vivo models of ovarian cancer, metabolomics, and high throughput genomics, and will be executed through multi-disciplinary and cross-institutional collaborations. More information can be found at airdlab.com.
The Aird Lab is seeking Postdoctoral Associates who have recently earned, or nearing completion of, a PhD degree in cellular and molecular biology or a related field.
