A postdoctoral position is available immediately in a multidisciplinary, well-funded and well-equipped research group in the Department of Oral Immunology and Infectious Diseases at the University of Louisville. The project will investigate the host-pathogen interactions in the context of microbial communities. Experience with microbial genetics and/or innate immunity is required. Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, or a related field. The candidate must also possess excellent written and oral communication skills. The successful candidate will join an existing team of postdoctoral researchers and graduate students, and will have the opportunity to develop independent research projects. The PI will work with the successful candidate in a collaborative lab environment to develop the project and help the trainee achieve their career goals.
