Tenure-track Faculty Position

North Carolina State University (NC State) and the Department of Biological Sciences are seeking candidates for a tenure-track faculty position at the preferred rank of Associate or Full Professor to direct the Center for Human Health and the Environment (CHHE), a P30 Center supported by the National Institute of Environmental Health Science. The mission of CHHE is to understand and reduce the negative impacts of environmental factors on human health at the individual and population levels. Its research mission covers the continuum from genes to populations by building on NC State’s unique research strengths and resources including but not limited to quantitative biology, -omics, analytical technologies, diverse model organisms, human population science, and community engagement. The successful candidate will maintain a nationally and internationally recognized research program in environmental health science (EHS) while leading the established CHHE from national prominence to global leadership in EHS.
