The Department of Biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin–Madison welcomes applications for a tenure-track (junior) or tenured (mid-career or senior) faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. Top candidates of any rank with a Ph.D. or an equivalent doctoral degree and a strong interest in emerging frontiers of biochemistry are invited to apply. The successful applicant will join a dynamic faculty with broad interests in the biochemical sciences, including nucleic acids, cell and molecular biology, chemical biology, structural biology, metabolism, imaging, synthetic and systems biology, and computational modeling. The Department has built an exceptional scientific environment including cryo-EM, NMR, mass spectrometry, crystallography, biophysical instrumentation, microscopy and animal care that is enhanced by state-of-the-art facilities on campus for high-throughput sequencing, computation and others.
