Job Details
The mission of The University of Texas M. D. The primary purpose of the Research Assistant I position is to provide technical assistance in carrying out various research projects and impacting efficient functioning of research activities.
Key Functions
1. Assists with research projects Radiation Oncology
2. Prepares and conducts tissue collection in accordance with established protocols
3. Operates laboratory apparatus and equipment
4. Documents and maintains record of data and findings in accordance with the methods requested
5. Clinical data tabulation and analysis
6. Report generation of collected datasets
7. Patient immobilization for research imaging
8. Research clinical data acquisition in accordance with established protocols
9. Patient reported outcome collection in accordance with established protocols
10. Dose-toxicity collection and report generation
11. Scheduling and coordination of patient research clinical treatment, procedures, and the creation and maintenance of research records in accordance with established protocols
12. Working with research animals (e.g. mice) in accordance with established protocols
