The Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at the Keck School of Medicine of USC, has an ongoing expansion to build upon existing strengths in Immunology and microbiology. The Department invites applicants for tenure-track Assistant and/or Associate Professor position in the field of cellular and molecular Immunology with emphasis on Immune Regulation and Immune Metabolism of Immune Responses.

We are particularly seeking highly motivated individuals who are working on basic and translational aspects of immunology. Creative scientists with a record of achievement and commitment to excellence in both research and teaching are encouraged to apply. Successful candidates will receive generous start-up packages and excellent laboratory space and will have access to laboratory animal facilities, and a wide range of state-of-the-art cores including flow cytometry and cell sorting, metabolomics, confocal microscopy and cell imaging, genomics and bioinformatics, and BSL-3 facilities available within the department.

Applicants should have a PhD, MD or MD/PhD degree and several years of postdoctoral experience, history of high-impact publications, carry out innovative research and expected to initiate and maintain a vigorous, independent, extramurally funded research program.
