Faculty Position in Molecular & Cell Biology
The Department of Anatomy in the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., is seeking applicants for a full-time Assistant Professor tenure-track position to start in the summer of 2021. Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and have postdoctoral experience. Within the context of molecular and cell biology, the candidate may be involved in neuroscience, developmental, genomic, or other innovative molecular and cell biology research. Highest priority will be given to candidates with a strong history of scholarly activity with either an established research program or the potential to develop an externally funded research program. Preference will be given to candidates with a record of teaching competency in the anatomical sciences. The College of Medicine is currently expanding its basic science faculty and offers a competitive start-up package. There are abundant opportunities for collaborations within the College of Medicine and at nearby institutions (NIH, FDA, USDA).
