SUMMARY

Provides technical assistance in carrying out various research projects.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES
Conducts research experiments and projects .
Conducts research experiments and projects in scientific fields independently or with minimal oversight of faculty and/or research staff.

Coordinate with PIs in Thoracic Head & Neck Medical Oncology to streamline data flow Will collaborate with physicians and labs in THNMO, to gather multifaceted patient data for developing machine leaning algorithms, through the use of PACS for curation of radiographic scans, HER for patient follow up, and work with GEMINI team and platform, to collect genomic information

Chart review Records and reviews patient info to assist data curation and quality check. The Research Assistant II will review the PACS system to identify radiographic scan, and work with data scientist to streamline imaging data curation; chart review patient clinical data from EHR platform; retrieve patient molecular data from GEMINI database.

Other duties as assigned.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree with major course works in one of the basic sciences.

Preferred Education: Master's Degree

Required Experience:Two years experience in scientific or experimental research work. No experience required with preferred degree.

Preferred Experience: Two years of experience in scientific or experimental research work in lung cancer. Experience with working in a multidisciplinary environment of oncology, radiology, and data science. Experience with PACS and HER systems.
