Postdoctoral fellow position in Developmental Neurobiology

Two postdoctoral fellow or research associate positions are available immediately to study neural stem cell specification and self-renewal or subcellular-specific targeting of dendrites in the Drosophila brain in Dr. Sijun Zhu’s lab in the Department of Neuroscience and Physiology at State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York state. Candidates should have a PhD in Biology. A strong background and considerable research experience in genetics, molecular biology, cell biology, biochemistry, and/or developmental biology are preferred but not absolutely required. Candidates who are highly self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible are encouraged to apply. Positions will remain open until filled.
