Research Fellow - Rinath Jeselsohn Lab

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute

Boston, MA

The lab of Rinath Jeselsohn at DFCI is seeking an enthusiastic post-doctoral fellow with a background in cancer biology or molecular pharmacology. Our group focuses on developing and studying preclinical models of breast cancer, identifying mechanisms of tumor progression and resistance to targeted therapies, and the development of novel therapeutic strategies that can be translated to the clinic. We employ multiple high throughput technologies and this position offers a unique opportunity to be co-mentored by multiple investigators in an environment where experimental and computational research are highly integrated.

Requirements:

Successful candidates are expected to pursue their research projects and participate in a number of collaborations, write manuscripts, attend and present at local and national conferences.

Qualifications:

  • PhD or MD/PhD
  • Enthusiastic, team player, and self-motivated individual
  • Strong laboratory skills in molecular biology and cell biology
  • Experience with animal studies.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong computational skills
  • Prior publication in internationally recognized journals is required
