Director of Operations, Yale Center for Genome Analysis

The Yale Center for Genome Analysis (YCGA) is a full-service facility dedicated to providing cutting edge genomic analyses.  YCGA is seeking a Director of Operations. YCGA utilizes diverse cutting-edge next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies to advance breakthroughs in biomedical and life sciences. It is a key resource for Yale that is used by more than 300 principal investigators and has supported many high impact discoveries and publications.

The Director of Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Center, including directing data production, technology development and implementation. The Director will also closely interact with users, the YCGA bioinformatics team, and clinical staff.  The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in genetics, molecular biology or a related field and be highly motivated, with a strong record of experience and success using NGS technologies in experimental applications and human genetics. Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and have demonstrated leadership abilities.

The Director of Operations will hold a Research Faculty position at a rank commensurate with experience. The review of application will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
