Postdoctoral Position in Microbiology and Single Cell Studies

A postdoctoral position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Jiqiang (Lanny) Ling at The University of Maryland, College Park to study microbiology, single cells, host-pathogen interactions, and antibiotic resistance. The Ling lab is interested in combining state-of-the-art single-cell, microbiology, biochemical, genetic, genomic, and proteomic approaches to understand the mechanisms and disease connections of the protein synthesis machinery. Recent work from the Ling lab has been published in leading journals such as Molecular Cell, New England Journal of Medicine, PNAS, Nucleic Acids Research, and American Journal of Human Genetics.
