The Wistar Institute has an opening for a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join the laboratory of Dr. Paul Lieberman to perform original biomedical research in areas of viral oncology and telomere biology. Research in the Lieberman lab focuses on understanding how the cancer-associated viruses, like Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) and Kaposi’s Sarcoma Associated Herpesvirus (KSHV), persist in a latent state to drive carcinogenesis.
Candidates should have a PhD (or equivalent) degree or should be close to obtaining their doctoral degree. Highly motivated candidates with experience in virology, molecular biology, cell biology, or functional genomics are encouraged to apply.
In addition to the online application, please submit a curriculum vitae and contact details of three references to Dr. Paul Lieberman, lieberman@Wistar.org.
