The Chemical Biology Institute, in partnership with the Department of Immunobiology, Yale University School of Medicine, New Haven, CT, invites applications for a tenure-track position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR rank to commence as early as January 1, 2022. The Chemical Biology Institute is one of seven multidisciplinary research institutes at Yale University’s West Campus.  Institute faculty hold a primary appointment in a life science, physical science, or engineering department. At this time, we seek to identify candidates whose research interests and accomplishments align with the Institute and the Department of Immunobiology.  We seek creative teacher-scholars to develop outstanding research programs in metabolism and/or (bio)chemical approaches to study or modulate the immune system or inflammatory processes.  They must possess a Ph.D. or M.D. equivalent in a relevant discipline and be committed to excellence in teaching and mentoring of students.
