Position Summary:
Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, or designee, the Research Associate I performs a variety of routine and increasingly complex research experiments. This position will help with statistical analyses of ongoing projects; help with statistical analyses of future projects; help with meta-analysis, IRB protocol development and submission, grant preparations, coordination and preparation of research meetings and related activities. This person will also assist in the development of grants, research programs and databases using computer software to facilitate the conduct of the research studies within the Department.

Qualifications
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, biostatistics or related field. Master's degree is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience in biostatistical consulting and analysis
  • Working knowledge in statistical analyses of data (descriptive analyses, power analysis, multivariate analyses)
  • Experience with behavioral studies, decision analysis and/or conducting systematic reviews and meta-analysis is a plus.
