Assistant Professor Evolutionary Ecologist

EVOLUTIONARY ECOLOGIST -- The Department of Biology at the University of Louisville (http://louisville.edu/biology) invites applications for a tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level to begin August 1, 2021.  We seek broadly trained applicants who address fundamental questions in ecology and/or evolution. Doctoral degree and Postdoctoral experience are required.  The successful candidate is expected to maintain an externally funded research program and to contribute to the department's teaching mission in both undergraduate and graduate programs. Primary teaching duties will include an introductory organismal biology course and core courses in ecology and evolution.  We seek candidates with experience working in multicultural settings, collaborating with multicultural workgroups, or engaging in diversity and inclusion initiatives.  This position is subject to final budget approval.
