POSTDOCTORAL POSITION

 IN CORONAVIRUS BIOLOGY

A postdoctoral position is available in the Host-Pathogen Dynamics Laboratory (Nihal Altan-Bonnet, PI) at the National Heart, Lung & Blood Institute, National Institutes of Health, Department of Health & Human Services in Bethesda, MD (starting 3/1/2021).  Our lab is broadly interested in understanding viral egress and transmission. We are looking for highly talented, creative, and independent-minded post-doc candidates to pursue questions related to our recent findings with Coronaviruses (Ghosh S., et al., Cell 2020).

Applicants should have either a PhD and/or MD degree and less than five years of postdoctoral research experience. Strong experience in cell/ molecular biology and immunology, and prior experience working with animal model systems is highly desirable.
