Job Title : Postdoctoral position for radiation, bone marrow transplant, and hematological cancer

Position Summary and Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a highly motivated and well-organized researcher for studying role of image guided targeted radiation (e.g. Total marrow irradiation (TMI), image guided targeted therapy) in hematological malignancies and bone marrow transplant within the Depart of Radiation Oncology (Hui laboratory), Beckman Research Institute, City of Hope. This is a part of the NIH (National Institute of Health) funded research for developing a total marrow irradiation program. The main goal is to foster translational and correlative studies to bridge basic science and ongoing clinical trials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (MUST be mentioned on application/resume):
  • PhD in Biology and related areas.
  • Experience in preclinical bone marrow transplant and graft versus host disease
  • Experience in leukemia and immune biology
  • Knowledge in use of radiation for GVHD studies are preferred.
