In this role, you will implement and manage HEOR strategies and tactics for assets in a therapeutic area, ensuring our products are differentiated and bring value to our patients around the world.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Senior Director, Value and Access Strategy HIV Treatment, this role will:




  • Develop and execute global HEOR strategies and programs for Gilead's HIV portfolio of launched medicines to inform, support and strengthen commercialization activities including marketing and market access
  • Work with cross-functional business partners to develop and support product value proposition to optimize access, reimbursement and uptake and achieve the commercial ambitions of the HIV Franchise.
  • Identify global HEOR evidence requirements and gaps; design, conduct and deliver studies/projects/databases analyses etc. to generate data and real-world evidence (RWE) to support value demonstration and product differentiation in HIV
  • Be a strategic partner and collaborate closely with HIV Market Access Strategy leads to co-develop and implement the Global Value and Access strategy both in the Global organization and with key Affiliates/markets
  • Develop Health economic tools/models that can capture the real world and long-term benefits and which can lead to value maximization of Gilead's HIV portfolio
  • Conduct landscape analysis of market competitors to understand HEOR relevant data/tools in order to differentiate Gilead's HIV portfolio of launched medicines
  • Collaborate with internal HEOR Center of Excellence to leverage their knowledge and expertise in HEOR and with PROs to demonstrate real world benefit to patients
  • Maintain up-to-date awareness of industry regulatory issues and research relationships with HEOR KOLs
  • Disseminate HEOR data and study results to internal stakeholders and align with market access, commercial and development team on potential for publication externally


Knowledge, Skills and Experience

We're seeking an analytical independent contributor with:




  • At least 12 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and/or managed care, including direct experience in HEOR
  • Understanding of HEOR assessments and technical expertise in design and execution of HEOR studies and models
  • Experience in developing global and AMCP dossiers
  • Understanding of US/global healthcare systems and reimbursement processes/decision making
  • Good oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in therapeutic area and/or US managed care desired
  • B.A. or B.S. required in life sciences, engineering or other related discipline; Advanced degree in HEOR-related field preferred
