We have the following exciting opportunity in our Foster City, CA location:

Associate Director, CL&D - Managed Markets

Roles and Responsibilities:

 

 

  • This role is responsible for designing, developing, and conducting innovative and interactive instructor-led and eLearning solutions in Managed Markets Sales training. Lead the design and implementation of end-to-end training new hire, advanced skills, and continuous training. This position reports to the Director, Commercial Learning & Development, Managed Markets.

 

  • This individual will deliver timely, competency and performance focused training with meaningful application to role and tangibly contribute to organization readiness or performance measures. Is able to lead without authority and is comfortable with ambiguity in making decisions across functions.
  • Responsible for organizational leadership through training of the following: Infusible product Sales teams (COVID-19, oncology).
  • Ensure cross-functional input and strong collaborative relationships with CL&D Sales Training, Medical Affairs, Brand/Marketing teams, Business Conduct, and Commercial leadership. Individual is primary training lead and role development responsible for Sales Market Access Trainers.
  • Conduct on-going needs analysis (stakeholder interactions, feedback, survey-benchmarks, etc.) and leverage results to inform/adjust training strategy and curriculum as needed.

 


Job Requirements:

 

 

  • Prior, relevant field or home office Managed Markets experience to effectively train and lead others across multiple channels in product market access and reimbursement core competencies, Gilead products and disease state.

 

  • Understands or has prior experience leading or co-contributing to national symposia planning and enterprise wide training a plus.
  • Can leverage, apply Adult Learning principles
  • Adept technology use and know-how to augment training delivery and enhance learner experience
  • Use performance metrics, feedback, analysis to improve training and development design

 


Education and Experience Requirements:

 

 

  • 10 years related experience, including a minimum of 2-3 years of oncology product sales and/or Commercial training experience required. BA/BS Degree required
  • Ability to assess, identify and communicate learning and performance needs
  • Strong project and vendor management experience
  • Success in leading cross-functional teams
  • Strong Communication (oral/written) & Interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and be accountable for individual & department results
  • Demonstrated experience in working with others in a matrix environment, ability to anticipate and adapt, own and or/work group tactics to support changing business need
  • Prior organizational leadership, or 2nd line management experiences a plus
