The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS) is the Nation's Federal Health Sciences University. The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the F. Edward Hebert School of Medicine, USUHS, is inviting applications for the position of the assistant or associate professor (tenure-track). We are seeking individuals who will establish a vigorous research program in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Cell Biology or related disciplines and have a demonstrated ability for excellent research. The incumbent will be responsible for leading an independent and extramurally funded research program and for teaching medical and graduate students; the University provides a hard 12-months salary. USUHS is located in an interactive scientific environment near the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and on the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC) campus in Bethesda, MD. Outstanding core facilities are available to support biomedical education and research. Minimum Qualifications: The applicant must be a US citizen with a Ph.D., M.D or equivalent degree and postdoctoral research experience.
