Position Summary
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Research EHR Operations, the Senior Research Data and Report Analyst is responsible for addressing custom application configuration and report development requests for clinical research, with a primary focus on supporting the precision medicine program and expansion of clinical trials to community practice and affiliate sites. This individual will intake reporting requests, analyze data, and provide dashboards and reports to end users. This role will also lead efforts in cross system reporting and will leverage enterprise tools for compiling data and creating visualizations for leadership. In addition, this individual will assist with the implementation, optimization, and support of workflows and clinical research application features in accordance with organizational policies and industry best practices.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Leads reporting initiatives for community practice integration
  • Produces reports and dashboards for leadership and frontline staff to support both day-to-day operations and broad strategic initiatives
  • Coordinates with stakeholders and ITS to support data needs for forecasting, execution, and quality assurance of clinical trials and clinical research
  • Analyzes and troubleshoots report issues and addresses report enhancement requests
  • Translates end user requests into technical requirements
  • Builds and tests technical solutions that support clinical research workflows, patient safety, care excellence, and operational efficiency
  • Refines build based on end user feedback
  • Partners with teams throughout the organization to ensure continued build and workflow alignment across integrated departments and applications
  • Regularly identifies and acts on opportunities for improvement in research system configuration and technology-driven workflows
  • Collaborates with the OnCore team to maintain and expand EHR-CTMS integration
  • Adheres to ITS policies, processes, and procedures for change management, system configuration, testing and training


Qualifications
Basic education, experience and skills required for consideration:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Information Technology, Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of experience and training
  • 2-5 years of experience developing reports using large clinical data sets
  • 2-5 years of experience with Epic application configuration
  • Epic Ambulatory, Clinical Research, Research Billing, and/or Research Informatics certification or proficiency
Preferred requirements:
  • Epic Clarity Clinical or Revenue Data Model certification
  • Tableau Desktop certification
  • Experience with MS SQL Server, BusinessObjects, and/or Crystal Reports
  • Experience with clinical trial operations
  • Experience in an academic or research environment
