Director of Manufacturing Automation
Takeda seeks a Director of Manufacturing Automation to lead our Cell Therapy program, including both research and development efforts as well as cell manufacturing. The successful candidate would continue to build and expand upon our research program, developing automated manufacturing processes to produce cell therapy product for both liquid and solid tumors.
Experience in engineering immunological cell therapies such as CAR-Ts is required, as is familiarity with cutting-edge new technologies, such machine learning-based processing technologies and closed-loop adaptive manufacturing. The ideal candidate would have experience in leading and managing research, development, and manufacturing of anti-cancer cell therapies, as well as experience with developing and testing cell therapy agents in in vivo and in vitro studies, and collaborating with research partners in both academic and clinical settings.
