Introduction:

Hangzhou Normal University (HZNU) is located in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, provides advanced education and research to students in medicine, education, liberal arts, engineering and many other comprehensive inter-disciplines areas. Being the most excellent institute within HZNU in terms of scientific research capability and facility, Division of Health Sciences consists of following 6 schools: School of Basic Medical Science, School of Pharmacy, School of Public Health, School of Nursing, School of Clinical Medicine, School of Stomatology. Moreover, it owns 1 directly affiliated hospital, 12 non-directly affiliated hospitals and more than 70 teaching practice bases. Currently, Division of Health Sciences enrolls more than 3400 students.

About our staff:  

There are about 350 full-time employees, 37% of them have overseas education/research experience, and 78% of them hold doctorate degrees. One member of Academy of Sciences of China undertakes full-time work, and two member of Academy of Sciences of China work part-time. There are also a number of outstanding personnel working in Division of Health Sciences, including the recipients of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the winners of the National New Century Million Talents Project, chief scientists of the National Major Scientific Research Program, winners of the National Science and Technology Progress Award, winner of He Liang & He Li Award, and winner of Wu Jieping Innovation Award.

Scientific Research Achievements:

Division of Health Sciences ranks worldwide among the top field of “Preventive Treatment of Diseases”, “Anti-aging”, “Vegetative State and Conscious Scientific Research, “Epigenetic Mechanism of Cancer” , “Cardivascular Disease” etc. In the past three years, Scientific Research Teams in Division of Health Sciences have undertaken more than 70 national-level scientific projects.

Faculty Positions are open at four distinct ranks: Full Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor, and Lecturer.
