『Positions, Qualifications and Benefits』

1. Distinguished Professor:

Qualifications:

The applicant should be a professor from prestigious universities or research institutions. The applicant should be a world-class scholar in his/her research field with high academic reputation and impact.

Benefits:

Annual Pre-tax Income: ≥ RMB 1 million; 

Research Start-up Fund: RMB 5-30 million for science and engineering; RMB 1-5 million for liberal arts;

Team: Equipped with key teachers, post-doctoral team and recruitment quota of doctoral students ;

Housing: Provide a well-equipped apartment or settling-in allowances. 

2. Professor:

Qualifications:

The applicant should have made remarkable academic achievements, has the ability to tackle key issues and lead the discipline to maintain the current level or catch up with the leading level.

Benefits:

Annual Pre-tax Income: ≥ RMB 800,000;

Research Start-up Fund: RMB 2-10 million for science and engineering; RMB 500,000-2 million for liberal arts;

Team: Equipped with key teachers, post-doctoral team and recruitment quota of doctoral students ;

Housing: Provide a well-equipped apartment or settling-in allowances. 

3. Associate Professor:

Qualifications:

The applicant should have made remarkable and innovative academic achievements and be able to support the development of the discipline and academic group. 

Benefits:

Annual Pre-tax Income: ≥ RMB 500,000;

Research Start-up Fund: RMB1 to 3 million for science and engineering; RMB 300,000 to 1 million for liberal arts;

Team: Equipped with key teachers, post-doctoral team and recruitment quota of doctoral students ;

Housing: Provide a well-equipped apartment or settling-in allowances. 

4. Assistant Professor:

Qualifications:

The applicant should obtain a doctoral degree from well-known universities with  innovation ability and development potential, and have hosted or participated in important scientific research projects and have achieved remarkable research results recognized by peer experts.

Benefits:

Annual Pre-tax Income: salary + RMB 100,000/year allowance ≧RMB 300,000;

Research Start-up Fund: RMB 100,000 to 400,000;

Settling-in Allowances: RMB 100,000 to 400,000 and a set of transitional apartment.

5. Lecturer:

Qualifications:

The applicant should obtain a doctoral degree from well-known universities and have made remarkable academic achievements.

Benefits:

The salary is RMB 180,000-280,000/year;

Housing, settling-in allowances and scientific research start-up fund are provided based on position and research fields.

6. Post-doctor:

Qualifications: 

The applicant should obtain a doctoral degree and is willing to  engage in full-time post-doctoral  research.

Benefits:

Annual Pre-tax Income: RMB 180,000-450,000;

Housing: Provide post-doctoral apartment or rental subsidies.

Opportunities to get permanent teaching and research positions at the university after completing postdoc research.
