Postdoctoral Researcher, Liquid Biopsy Program, University of California, Los Angeles The Liquid Biopsy Program associated with the Department of Molecular & Medical Pharmacology, David Geffen School of Medicine, and California NanoSystems Institute at UCLA is actively hiring full-time postdoctoral researcher to work in the interdisciplinary research team to develop precision-medicine-based diagnostic strategies for cancer and prenatal diseases. With stable funding support from National Cancer Institute, the Liquid Biopsy Program at UCLA has assembled a group of scientists, engineers, and physicians from UCLA and Cedars Sinai Medical Center to leverage advances in nanotechnology to create tools that enable physicians to diagnose multiple types of cancer and prenatal diseases with improved precision and minimum invasiveness. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. degree in molecular biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Previous experience with digital PCR, next-generation sequencing, molecular assay development, and/or liquid biopsy biomarkers is highly desirable.
