The Precision Vaccines Program (PVP) at Boston Children’s Hospital (BCH) is currently seeking to hire a PhD scientist as a Research Associate. BCH, a 415-bed academic hospital and primary pediatric affiliate of Harvard Medical School, is the number one ranked pediatric hospital in the Unites States and home to a rich diversity of accomplished biomedical research investigators.  The PVP is a platform to encourage collaboration between academia, government and industry to advance next generation vaccines tailored to vulnerable populations. Comprised of eight faculty members who lead laboratories within the program, the PVP is located at the Harvard Institutes of Medicine Building at 4 Blackfan Circle.  The successful candidate will have completed a PhD degree in Immunology, Tissue- and/or Bio-engineering or related fields, have post-doctoral, academic and industry experience, a robust publication track record, and be able to work within an integrated translational vaccinology team. Experience with human tissue engineering and in vitro vaccine modeling is required. This position is eligible for an academic appointment at Harvard Medical School at the rank of Instructor commensurate with experience, achievement, recognition, and teaching.
