Required Qualifications: PhD degree in Biomedical Engineering, Biophysics, Neuroscience, or similarly related field
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in signal processing, data analysis tools, programming, and statistical analysis
About the Job
The postdoctoral researcher will be involved in a clinical trial testing electrical spinal cord stimulation for treatment of spinal cord injury (https://www.estand.org). They will be involved in the data analysis of electromyogram and kinesiology data. They must have experience in signal processing, data analysis tools, programming, and statistical analysis. The research position will also involve experimental design, statistical analysis, writing up results for scientific papers, and grant writing. The postdoctoral position will be mentored by Theoden Netoff, in the Department of Biomedical Engineering (http://neuralnetoff.umn.edu) and David Darrow, in the department of Neurosurgery (https://www.hermandarrowlab.com/).
