Are you looking for a role that allows you to influence a global strategy across a the portfolio of drug discovery programs? If so, this NCE Molecular Discovery Global Data Strategy Lead role could be an ideal opportunity to explore.

Our understanding of biology has significantly advanced through the use of high content multi-dimensional technologies like RNAseq, cell painting, high-content imaging and flow cytometry. These platforms generate massive datasets that need to be integrated and visualized to drive program decisions to support the design and evolution of small molecules on their way to being clinical candidates.

This role will drive the data strategy for enabling high-content data platforms within NCEMD. You will work across the business at the interface of these high content screening technologies and partner with multi-disciplinary computational capabilities including: computational chemistry, computational biology, machine learning and R&D tech to drive the impact of these high content datasets and deliver on the NCEMD data agenda to provide decision making data and visualizations to small molecule discovery project teams.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career, these responsibilities include some of the following…
  • Work with high content screening technology experts to understand the data they are generating and the questions they are trying to answer
  • Develop and deliver an NCEMD high-content data strategy to integrate high-content data across multiple platforms to make chemistry decisions for small molecule discovery programs
  • Coordinate and insure connectivity with essential business partners across the data space including: DCS, AI/ML, Computational Biology, Medicinal Chemistry and RDTech.
  • Oversee the embedded data scientists with NCEMD to align their effort against the NCEMD priorities
  • Establish a center of excellence and define best practice for data analytics for the bench scientist in NCEMD
