As Technical Project Lead (TPL) & Sr Formulation Scientist, you will be responsible for working with technical teams across Supply Chain and R&D functions to optimize and enhance a broad portfolio of OTC and consumer products. This will require understanding the chemistry and physical properties of the actives and raw materials and how to bring these materials together to form a stable, functioning product.

  • This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
  • Lead technical teams charged with resolving business continuity challenges across a broad array of OTC products
  • Identify and implement optimized formulas and enhanced manufacturing approaches to produce products more efficiently
  • Expand and develop expertise in a broad array of dosage forms that includes solid oral solids, liquids, semi-solids, powders, soft gelatin capsules, creams, and ointments
  • Design and execute experiments to drive a fundamental understanding of complex systems and processes
  • Drive a culture dedicated to quality and integrity in your work and the work of others
  • Solve project related problems by leveraging your scientific expertise and problem-solving skills Participate in forums to comment, build on, and review the work of fellow scientists
  • Initiate new approaches and novel strategies to realize project and departmental goals
  • Influence project direction by following your curiosity to expand your knowledge and expertise in vital technical, leadership, and business areas
  • Perform complex data management and data interpretation analyses to uncover critical factors for a data-based approach to decision making
  • Make effective decisions to achieve desired outcomes of project team through technical or scientific interpretation of results
  • Prepare detailed reports communicating important decision making processes and rationales rooted in deep scientific understanding of the dosage form and manufacturing process
  • Independently prepares and communicate conclusions and recommendations for next steps Develop and apply networking skills to drive effective teamwork across departments and divisions
  • Anticipate problems and proactively seek input from the technical and scientific teams and functions within Consumer Healthcare
