Our vision is for people with cancer to not only live, but to live well because we are delivering innovative and transformational medicines to enable them. We have made a strategic decision to focus our portfolio on innovation in three cutting edge areas of science where we think we can provide the most valuable solutions for patients. These are Immuno-Oncology, Cell and Gene Therapy, and Cancer Epigenetics.

Letetresgene autoleucel (lete-cel or GSK'794) is an autologous ex vivo T-cell receptor (TCR) modified T-cell therapy targeting NY-ESO-1+ cancers. Lete-cel is the leading cell therapy for the treatment of solid tumors, with evidence of transformative efficacy in two forms of sarcoma and potential in a range of other indications including NSCLC. The therapy has received Orphan and Breakthrough Therapy Designation from the FDA and PRIME designation from the EMA.

In parallel, building from investments in cell therapies for rare diseases, GSK has made significant investment in the development of a robust pipeline of additional high-potential cell therapies (TCRs and CAR-Ts) and an efficient manufacturing platform.

We are seeking a Value Evidence & Outcomes (VEO) Senior Manager to lead health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) activities for lete-cel and other cell therapy medicines within the development pipeline. The VEO Senior Manager role is essential in ensuring that each oncology medicine GSK brings to market is supported by scientifically credible, high quality evidence aligned with the needs of those responsible for making important decisions around patient access.

As a VEO Senior Manager, you will lead VEO contributions to multiple early stage CGT assets and new indications for the lete-cel program. In addition, the Manager will support the launch indication for the lete-cel program in sarcoma. The VEO Senior Manager will report to the Senior Director, Value Evidence Leader and will play a significant role in driving and executing the VEO strategy for cell therapy assets.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
  • Interact with the matrix to plan projects/studies within the VEP (Value Evidence Plan)
  • Conduct VEO-specific activities as defined in the VEP (PRO strategy, economic modeling, real world evidence, indirect comparisons, etc.) ensuring the scientific robustness of the study protocol, study execution, analyses, and reporting.
  • Leadership on critical launch activities including the global value evidence dossier
  • Work with clinical teams to embed and track patient reported outcomes in ongoing trials
  • Ensure quality, visibility and continuity of health outcomes activity conducted centrally and/ or in key local operating companies (LOCs).
  • Manage the needs of one or more medicine programs at different stages of development through to post-launch showing an ability to handle competing priorities, address issues of multiple complexity and deliver to challenging timelines.
  • Develop tumor level materials/tools early in the development lifecycle, refining these into medicine specific materials in preparation for governance decisions.
