The Kaffman lab is investigating the role that microglia play in mediating the neurodevelopmental and behavioral changes seen in mice exposed to early life stress. The lab is a member of the Ribicoff Center in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale, which is a dynamic and large group of neuroscientists studying the molecular biology of different complex behaviors in rodents. We have several exciting projects that use cutting edge technologies in neuroimmunology, genomics, and imaging in mice. For information on recent publications from the Kaffman lab see, White 2020 (DOI: 10.7554/eLife.58301), Johnson et al 2018 (PMID: 29463821), Johnson and Kaffman 2018 (PMID:28625767) and Delpech et al. 2016 (PMID:27301858).
