Are you looking for an opportunity to design and execute studies to discover, understand, model, simulate, and create new drug molecules? If so, this is the role for you.

As Formulation Product Development Manager Professional, you will be responsible for the understanding of actives, raw materials and their function and how they are brought together to form a stable, functioning product from prototype evaluation to commercial launch.

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following:
  • Deliver Packaging Innovation that is responding to consumer needs while protecting the product & meeting GSK CH quality standards.
  • Manage multiple Packaging Projects at different stages of development.
  • Direct and inspire cross functional project teams for flawless delivery with speed. Liaise with different functions in GSK organization such as: NPD, Commercial, Supply chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality Regulatory and Procurement to ensure smooth and robust product launches.
  • Working closely with Packaging Innovation and Sustainability team, support benchmark activities as well as packaging technology & innovation scouting. Maintaining awareness of competitors activities and trends in industry as well as ensuring identifications of new innovative packaging that can bring benefits/ add value to our consumers.
  • Continuously learn and build capability to identify new opportunities or improvements in technology, processes and ways of working.
  • Write specifications, reports, protocols and test methods that meet GSK CH standards of the global packaging documentation system. Initiate, lead and approve change controls and change activities.



Why you?


Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • Bachelor Degree in Packaging / Material Science / Engineering
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a Packaging Engineer, Packaging Development Manager, Packaging Technologist role or similar.


Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Master Degree in Packaging / Material Science / Engineering or equivalent
  • Experience in the management of complex packaging projects in end to end process in FMCG/ healthcare/ cosmetics industry.
  • Good knowledge of packaging regulations, trends, as well as rich network of external partners will be a plus.
  • Experience in use of different applications and software that help in performing of every day work such as: Packaging Specification Systems, Track Wise, SAAP, Statistica, Powerpoint, etc.
  • Entrepreneurship, can do attitude, self drive and passion in packaging science are desired characteristic of candidate.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to instruct and direct others in collaborative team environment.
  • Able to present with confidence to different audience.
