  • Lead, manage, and provide direction to diverse team of biostatisticians of various disciplines (e.g., clinical, epidemiological statisticians)
  • Function as statistical lead and proactively provide strategic input for vaccines development programs, influencing and advising senior leadership on issues that have business impact
  • Identify opportunities for and drive application of novel statistical/epidemiological methodologies with direct reports
  • Represent Biostatistics function in global project meetings with stakeholders and implement quantitative decision-making principles to inform vaccine development
  • Deliver statistical and scientific excellence in partnership with project team to prepare and execute vaccine development strategy
  • Serve as statistical representative in support of regulatory submissions, providing strategic input for interactions with regulatory authorities, ensuring robustness and successfully defending company position on statistical issues and influencing global regulatory agencies
  • Proactively build and maintain effective strategic working relationships with business partners to deliver business needs
  • Ensure quality and timely delivery of statistical deliverables


Why you?

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:
  • MS in statistics or related field with minimum 10 years pharmaceutical or related experience
  • PhD (or equivalent) in statistics or related field with minimum of 7 years pharmaceutical or related experience
  • Strong statistical contributions and accomplishments in vaccines development, with a broad knowledge of all phases of development, from early clinical through to lifecycle management
  • Experience with managing direct reports


Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:
  • Extensive experience in clinical and epidemiological/RWE trials
  • Prior experience with applying Bayesian methods is strongly desirable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with;
    - A history of building and maintaining strong working relationships
    - A demonstrated ability to explain novel and standard methods to scientific and clinical senior stakeholders.
    - Strong influencing skills applied effectively across functions and levels of an organization
