RESEARCH PROFESSIONAL III POSITION IN SYSTEMS BIOLOGY OF AMF/SORGHUM SYMBIOSIS
The University of Georgia, Department of Genetics, is seeking applications to investigate
symbiotic relations between sorghum and arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) to improve plant biomass in a DOE funded study. The research professional is expected to develop a high-throughput imaging platform for AMF/sorghum root interactions to understand how the symbiosis affects plant biomass and have familiarity with fungal molecular biology and robotics. Applicant will have the opportunity to interact with an interdisciplinary team in Genetics, Bioinformatics, Plant Biology, Crop and Soil Science. To apply, send vita and 3 references to: Dr. Jonathan Arnold, Genetics Department, University of Georgia, Athens, GA 30602. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org. Application deadline: open until filled. The University of Georgia is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
