This Technical Writer position will technical writing services for the Adoptive Cell Therapy Platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in immunotherapy.
KEY FUNCTIONS
Scientific Writing and Publications:
- Gathers information from leadership to assist in writing manuscripts, grant applications, internal documents and other documents.
- Provides proofreading, copyediting, line editing and minor reorganization of manuscripts and other documents written by faculty and staff.
- Coordinates and prepares manuscripts for journal, internal documents, presentations and other submission according to guidelines established by the organizations accepting the submission.
- Provides assistance in graphic files conversion or reforming to meet submission requirements.
- Assists in writing and graphic art tasks as needed by the department/platform.
Research Administration:
- Supports leadership with identification, preparation, coordination, and submission/tracking of grants and manuscripts.
- Facilitate interactions with Principal Investigators, faculty, staff, and study sponsors across departments, divisions, and institutional boundaries related to CAR NK initiative.
- Assures that institutional policies and procedures are followed.
Other duties assigned.
EDUCATION
Required: Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
EXPERIENCE
Required: Two years experience as a writer/editor. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Strong background in immunotherapy.
