Under the direction of the manager, provides troubleshooting and application/end user support for specific Development Operations and Clinical Operations applications. Provides user management, creation and deactivation of users. Utilizes ticket tracking system. During system implementation and change management, may support, test, and refine application configurations to align with business process needs. Works with business and IT partners to enhance applications to reduce operating time or improve efficiency. Prepares program-level and user-level documentation. May assist with software configuration management, maintenance, introduction and training. Follows pre-defined task lists with given development tool. Must follow Standard Operating Procedures for validated systems. Organizes, prioritizes, and coordinates multiple work activities to meet project deadlines. Identifies and documents business processes.
Specific education and experience requirements:
Knowledge Requirements: Frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques.
Problem Solving: Provide solutions to a variety of technical problems and user support requests of moderate scope and complexity.
Discretion/ Latitude: Works under general supervision. Follows established procedures. Work is reviewed for soundness of technical judgment, overall adequacy and accuracy.
Impact: Contributes to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects. Failure to achieve results or erroneous decisions or recommendations may cause delays in program schedules and may result in the allocation of additional resources.
Liaison (Internal & External Influence): Primarily internal company contacts. Frequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters.
