The Sr Manager will be an integral member of the U.S. Revenue Accounting team responsible for proper revenue accounting/maintenance of related company policy/compliance with corporate SOX requirements and supporting various system implementation and ad hoc projects/initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Manage the activities of the revenue accounting function (e.g., develop, implement, and maintain accounting system policies and procedures to ensure revenue is recognized and reported in accordance with U.S. GAAP)
  • Work closely with various business partners
  • Be responsible for period-end close activities and account reconciliations
  • Summarize periodical financial results and perform variance and trend analysis
  • Prepare quarterly reporting schedules for internal and external reporting purpose
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and policies
  • Drive for continuous process and system improvements
  • Support various system implementation and/or ad hoc projects/initiatives as needed


Knowledge, Experience and Skills
  • Proven ability to lead collaborative problem solving
  • Attention to detail, organized and thorough
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
  • Ability to adapt to and be flexible in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in revenue accounting is a plus
  • Proficiency with systems such as Oracle and related analytical applications preferred
  • A combination of Big 4 CPA and hands-on operational experience strongly preferred
  • Experience in a commercial stage Life Sciences company is a plus
