Assistant/Associate Professor
Division of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry
The Division of Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry at The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy invites applications for a full-time tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level effective August 2021. The division (http://sites.utexas.edu/medchem/) is part of a highly interdisciplinary and interactive research environment across the university, including Dell Medical School. The successful applicant will engage in productive interdisciplinary research, provide high-quality teaching, and actively participate in university service. The candidate will be expected to have a vigorous and externally funded research program (commensurate with rank), dedicated to utilizing chemistry to understand basic mechanisms in biology. Candidates with research interests related to the application of Chemical Biology to cancer or infectious diseases are encouraged to apply. Teaching in the professional (Pharm.D.) program and development of graduate courses in the area of research expertise are expected. Qualified candidates must have a Ph.D. in a relevant field.
