Postdoctoral Associate – Droujinine Lab
The lab of Ilia Droujinine at the Scripps Research Institute is hiring a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate. We are a young lab aiming to develop novel methods to identify and characterize secreted factors that coordinate organ and organism functions in homeostasis and disease. Ideal candidates will lead their own project, and perform mammalian cell culture, in vivo mouse experiments, and present results in lab meetings, conferences, and papers. The hired candidates will perform techniques including quantitative TMT mass spectrometry, metabolomics, western blot, pulldowns, DNA cloning, immunostaining, confocal microscopy, high throughput screens, bioinformatic data analysis. PhD degree in biology, chemical biology, biological engineering, or related discipline . At least 4 years of laboratory experience in a related discipline . Mammalian cell culture, In vivo mouse experience. Experience in biological techniques outlined in the position summary. High motivation and independence in reading scientific literature and performing experiments
Salary is commensurate with experience.
