Summary
The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences (https://www.stjude.org/research/departments-divisions/pharmaceutical-sciences.html) invites applications for open rank faculty (commensurate with experience) in the areas of anticancer and anti-infective therapeutics. The successful applicants may perform basic, translational, or clinical research related to pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, pharmacogenomics, drug transport, metabolism, or drug resistance. Candidates interested in applying innovative technologies and platforms to study drug response are particularly encouraged to apply, including but not limited to single-cell profiling, functional genomics, and microbiome genomics.

The Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences includes multiple independent laboratory-based faculty members with dedicated and shared contiguous laboratory space and houses the Clinical Pharmacokinetics laboratory, the Cancer Center Pharmacokinetics Shared Resource, and the Pharmacotyping Resource.
The positions include full salary support, a generous start-up package, and an ongoing commitment of research support and space, laboratory resources, and support positions. The successful candidates are expected to establish and maintain vigorous, extramurally-funded, independent research programs. Minimum Education
- Successful candidates should have a PhD, PharmD, or PharmD/PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmacology, or a related discipline and appropriate post-doctoral training.
