One postdoctoral position is available immediately on NIH-funded project to study host immune / inflammatory responses to Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI), host-pathogen interactions, as well as development of novel antimicrobials /vaccines against CDI.

Self-motivated individuals with a recent PhD/MD degree and research experience in one or more areas of molecular biology, immunology, cell biology, molecular microbiology, and animal models of diseases, microbiome are encouraged to apply. The lab has established all needed molecular tools for manipulating C. difficile and mammalian cell lines. The lab also established two animal models of CDI to support basic and applied projects on C. difficile.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or MD. Ph.D. in a related field from an accredited institution.  Must meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Postdoctoral Fellow.
