The Division of Nephrology in the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine is recruiting a full-time research faculty at position as Associate. This is a termed, non-tenure position with potential advancement through ranks per University guideline.  Candidates must have a PhD or equivalent, and several years of productive postdoctoral research experience.

The successful candidate will have had hands on experience in mouse genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, and/or electrophysiology. The applicant must be well published in scientific journals, and be capable of designing, carrying out experiments successfully and independently. Research experience in areas broadly related to the kidney disease such as polycystic kidney disease, cardio-renal, brain-kidney crosstalk is desirable.
