The Guo Lab at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to work in the field of Synthetic Organic Chemistry and Chemical Biology.  Applicant must have PhD in organic chemistry or related fields.  Successful candidates should have a proven track record of publication. The preference will be given to the candidate who has extensive experience in organic synthesis.

The successful candidate will be expected to work under the guidance of the principal investigator as well as to mentor graduate students.  The specific focuses of the open position include organic synthesis of chemical probes and development of biorthogonal reactions.  This position requires the candidate to independently design and perform experiments.  Experience with scientific journal writing and submission is a plus.  The candidate will have plenty of opportunities to learn new knowledge and techniques in chemical biology and protein biochemistry.
