The LSU Health Sciences Center Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center has an opening for two Postdoctoral Researchers to study and identify drug targets in cancer development, progression and metastasis to develop targeted preventive cancer therapies using experimental and integrated approaches. Successful candidates should have an interest in translational cancer research with a PhD or equivalent degree and must be able to work independently with high self-motivation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in cancer biology and mouse models (xenograft, GEMM models, etc.). Experience in cancer biology, cancer prevention research, cancer drug development, and metastasis is highly desirable.

Minimum qualifications:
- PhD, MD, or DDS
- 1 year experience in a research environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Hands-on experience in cancer biology and mouse models (xenograft, GEMM models, etc.)
