The Nutritional Epigenetics Laboratory at the USDA ARS Grand Forks Human Nutrition Research Center is searching for a postdoctoral associate interested in studying the effects of maternal and paternal diets and exercise on offspring obesity risk. The Nutritional Immunology and Epigenetics Laboratory’s research, led by Dr. Kate Larson, focuses on epigenetic alterations that control offspring obesity risk by modulating histone methylation/demethylation, miRNA expression, DNA methylations, and inflammatory gene expression and promote metabolic tissue dysfunction and offspring obesity.
