Job Details
This position is located in the United States Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Arkansas Children's Nutrition Center in Little Rock, Arkansas. The incumbent will plan and conduct research in one or more areas related to: prenatal, perinatal and postnatal factors that impact growth, development, obesity and metabolic health; metabolic programming; epigenetics/epigenomics, splanchnic development and function of the microbiome. Responsibilities of the position include: conducts independent research and multi-disciplinary, team-based research and analyzes experimental data, composes manuscripts for publication of experimental results, presents information at scientific meetings and at other research institutions; develops collaborations with university, industry, and government scientists; and expands and complements an existing research program in maternal and infant nutrition, physical activity and child development.
