The Department of Pharmacology and Chemical Biology is focused on using small molecules and biologics to understand and modify disease-relevant cellular processes. The Department invites applications from outstanding scientists for a tenure track position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank. The successful candidate will possess or develop an independent, funded research program in drug discovery, chemical biology, protein design and engineering or other areas broadly relevant to pharmacology. The candidate will supervise graduate students and postdoctoral fellows and contribute to the educational programs in the Department and College. Candidates should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and postdoctoral experience as well as a strong record of research accomplishments. Competitive compensation and a generous start up package will be provided.
