Further interactions with the Institute of Chemistry in the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, the Interdisciplinary Faculty with the Departments Maritime Systems and Life, Light and Matter as well as with the Leibniz Institute for Baltic Sea Research Warnemünde (IOW) are expected from the appointee.

The successful applicant will teach classes in biochemistry in the BSc, MSc and teacher training study programs at the Institute of Biological Sciences, with a required contribution of 8 h per week per semester.
